We have a fully funded PhD position in the group (click here to apply)

The goal of the research project is to discover and develop new sustainable radical reactions using visible-light and employing earth abundant, non-toxic transition metals. The student will be exposed to a variety of techniques in organic chemistry, including shlenck techniques, glove-box techniques, and the most up-to-date purification/analysis techniques, as well as ample opportunities to gain knowledge in ligand design, organometallic chemistry, organic synthesis, photochemistry, and catalysis.

Anyone interested in PhD and postdoctoral are encouraged to directly contact Dr. Kumar. All the funded position will be advertised both on UCL Chemistry Department website and on this page.

Please contact us via email if you already have your own funding and would like to join the group. Similarly, if you are interested in applying for funding to come and work with us, please send your CV and a covering letter explaining why you are interested in our research; we will be happy to help you find appropriate funding.

More information about different funding opportunities can be found here.
